A four-rink bowling match was played this afternoon between the New South Walo3 bowlers, who ai rived here yesterday, and rinks drawn from the various Chrktchurch clubs. The match was won by Chmtchurch by 114 points to 75. Details : — Christchurch (Barlow, .skip). 37.; New South Wales (Dr. M'Leod), 13. . Xew South Wales (Roarty), 27; Christchurch (Jacques), 16. Christchurch (Johnston), 38; New South Wales (Evans), 14. Christchurch (Bishop), 23; Sew South Wales (Pliippet), 21. Tho visitors were accorded a leception by the Deputy-Mayor to-ttoj. Further matches will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Friday the visitors will leave for the x South.
