The Oceanic Company's steamer Sonoma—on which trouble took place over the employment of a non-unionist, with tho result that fifty-seven of the crow wcro sent to prison for four weeks — is still held up hero. Although tho" executive of tho Austraianian Seamen's Union tmdertook to find a crew, tho members of the union had something to say in the matter, and declined to tako tho places of men belonging to tho American union. It is quite uncertain now when the steamer will get away for Auckland and San Francisco.
