CRICKET.
Tho A.M.P. Society and the Govern,ment Lift. Insurance Department held their annual cricket match at the college grounds yesterday. Tho former team made 190, of which S. Hickson contributed 117 not out, Barclay 34, and Davies 10. The Government Life responded wjth 202 for the loss of one wicket. Wills made 122 not out, Casey 48 not out, whilst "extras" were responsible for 26. Bowling for A.M.P^ Wilkes took one wicket for 30 runs. Houston, five wickets for 68 Tuns, was the most, "successful bowler for the Government Life. Both teams sat down to an excellent luncheon, which was served on the ground.
