YACHT RAGING.

Tho races for firot, second, and third class yachts, under the auspices of the Port Nicholson Yacht Club, were continued on Saturday afternoon. A strong northwesterly wind compelled most of the boats to reef down. The yachts started from a line in front of the Thorndon Yacht Club Ehed, but the number of coal hulks, etc., about this spot led to some confusion as to the starting line. Several of tho owners of boats competing strongly favour tho starting line at tho Glasgow wharf, which they contend would bo more convenient all-round. Tho only competitors in the first class race were Mr. A. H. Turnbull's Torangi (scr) and Messrs. M'Lean and' Renncro Waitangi (2min). The Waitangi was seven minutes late starting.
