DEAR SIRS — In answer lo your enquiries as to how tho Milner's Safe opened by me preserved its contents, l have to report as follows: — Since tho lato disastrous Fire I have opened , Milnor's, , and Safes, and have h. .'0 to say that the papcrstakon from the Milner's Safe were in better order than thoso in either of the others. Tho wholo of tho contents of one of the Safes, which was a largo double-door Bafe (not Milnor'a) wero absolutely destroj cd. The Milner's, , and Safes wore all close together in the one building.
