[BT TBUKnATO. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.! CHRIBTCHURCH, This Day. At the inquest held yesterday touching the death of Frank S. Caines, who was found dead at the back of the Zetland Hotel on the previous afternoon, with a bullet wound in his head, evidence was given that deceased suffered from insomnia. He had been dismissed from his employment in the morning owing to dntemperancj. A verdict of suicide while of unsound) mind was returned. . DUNEDIN, This Day. An inquest was held yesterday respecting tno death of George Keyes, 83 years of age, an old age pensioner. The evidence showed that the deceased lived alone in South Dunedin. He had not been seen since Saturday evening, and on this being reported to the police his residence was entered, and tlie old man was found dead- Th© jury returned a verdict of death from natural causes, in accordance with the medical evidence.
