THE WINTER SHOW.
TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS. [By Telegraph.] (From Our Bpeeial Reporter.) PALMERSTON, This Day. There is dubious weather again for the fourth day .of the winter show. The attendanco of tho public is fairly large. The children are much in evidence, Palmerston's three schools being strongly represented. A milk test competition, which' began yesterday, and was continued last night, U still unfinished. The great attraction this afternoon is the intercollege senior and junior contests, Te-Aute v. Wanganui. Tho dutoctorato of the National Dairy Association (North Island) yesterday directed cireulnr* to be issued to dairy'companies culling meetings at Stratford and Woodvillo within a month to consider the question of sending a representative to London for a term of three years to watch over the interests of the association. The proposal v& that £1000 yearly be subscribed by companies for this purpose. The delegates aix» to decide the question at Stratford and Woodvillo.
