The new valuations for the Invercargill borough show a capital value of £1,532,497 — an increase of 17 per cent, on the previous valuation, and an unimproved value of £689,779— an increase of 32 per cent. For the borough of Gore the capital value is £417,132 — an increase of 31 per cent., and an unimproved vulue k of £183,000— an iucreMe of 73 jjw cenfc.^
