THEATRE ROYAL. The popularity of the present company, at the Theatre Royal was again evidenced on Saturday night, when a crowded house witnessed an entire change of programme. Among tile new performers who appeared were Miss Rosa Berry and Victor Loydall, who gave an interesting and lively sketch, included in which is a song in "real Chinese" by Miss Berry. The turn is a good one, and a very pleasant addition to the company. The Bovis Brothers laughed and danced and! sang to the great amusement of Che audience, and Mr. Leg Warton sang a number of new coon songs as only he can sing them, while Mr. Bob Lloyd presented a new budget of eccentricities which was greatly appreciated. Miss Ruby Clare made her first appeaTanco in a new coon song and dance, and met witfli a warm reception. Miss Ethel Leslie's singing of "Sunshine and Rain" was promptly encored, and ia response she sang a sweet little song, "One Deep-redi Rose," the words of which are by Mr. J. Y. Birch and the music by Mr. I. M. Levy, written as an answer to " Helen Wright's well-known ballad "Violets." The Golden Duo, Miss Gertirnde Emery, and all the others members of the com- 1 pany did excellent work, and judging from the applause and encores whichgreeted all the turns, this week's programme should prove fully as Attractive as any of its predecessors.
