PERSONAL MATTERS.
» Mr. Justice Denriistdn" will arrive from the Sonth to-morrow. Mr. G. C. Fair, manager of the Taranaki Petroleum Company, arrived in Wellington last night from New Plymouth on a brief visit. Last evening the members of the Tramways Band presented the Mayor (the Hon. T. W. Hislop), the Town Clerk (Mr. J. R. Palmer), Mr. S. Richardson (Electrical Engineer), and Mr. James (Traffic Manager with framed photos of the band. The presentation was made by Mr. J. W. Callaghon, chairman of the Band Committee. The Mayor and the . other recipients of the band's gift referred in eulogistic terms to the progress made by the band since iis inception.
