[bt teleqbath.— -pukss association.) DUNEDIN 7th June. At/ a meeting of delegates from country school committees, held to-day, ill was decided to form a Country School Committees' Association, with branches in different paHs of the wards. All the delegates spoke strongly against the agd limit for free places, and it was resolved that the age limitf for free secondary scholarships should be abolished; thut each ward have an equal number of scholarship*; and that the Government be requested' to provide funds for all who qualified; llhat an adequate sum be placed at the disposal of Education Boardß in 'oTder that they might make suitable provision for having children driven to central schools. Mr. T. Mackenzie, M.H.R., w»» elected president.
