Additional lats nominations, including four New Zealand horses, have increased the entries for the Melbourne Cup to 163, and the number for the Cauifield Cup has been swelled to 172. Fifty entries have been received for the National Hurdlo Kace, forty-one for the Steeplechase, fifty-seven for the Caulfield National Hurdle Race, and sixtythree- for the Caulfield Steeplechase. Grand Rapids, a New Zealand Cup winner, has been entered for both cups, also for the Williamstown Cup. I
