NEW ZEALAND-NEW CALEDONIA FIJI-COOK ISLANDS STEAM SERVICE. r B VhNDERS are invited by the New Zea- «- land Government for a Steam Service Now Zealand to Cook Islands, via Norfolk Island, Now Calodonia, New Hebrides, Fiji, Tonga, and Niuo. CONDITIONS : Tenders to provide for (a) Four-weekly service. Ib) Six-weekly service. Loading and discharging in Now Zealand at Auckland and Wellington, . Speed of steamers to bo stated by tenderers. Steamers ara required to be fitted, an' (veil equipped for passenger and cargo trade, generally adapted for tho Island service. Steamers to coalain accommodation for not less than 40 saloon and 20 stuerago passengers. Steamers lo have sufficient cool space or refrigerator on board to supply at least the above number of passengers with fresh food throughout the voyage. Steamers to have suitable space on board for carriage of H.M. mails. Steamers to have accommodation to carry dairy and farm produce to port of destination in cood order and condition, and if requirea to bo able to carry livo stock to Norfolk Island, Noumea, or New Hebrides. - Tonderers to stale rales of freight and nassengoi- . money 1 required between all ports specified.
