At the annual meeting of the Farmers' Union Fire Insuranco Company tho report stated that, starting with £27,000 of risks, at the end ot the year the amount was £79,478, representing 270 policies. The not profit is £112 4s 2d, which goes to tho reserve. This is after paying tho whole of tho preliminary expenses, and is equal to a dividend of nearly 2s lOd per cent, on the amount insured. j
