There were eighty-four investors on the winning "double" — Cross 1 Battery and Boomerang — which j)£U(l a dividend of £16 8s 6d. The finest conte&fc was that between Adhilles and Porcelain in the Challenge Stakes. The North Island crack won a great race by a head. The lime registered is a record for tho race.
