WALTHAM ORPHANAGE ENQUIRY.
THE COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. [BT TEIJSGBAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Charitable Aid Board held a special meeting to-day to consider the Commissioner's report on the Wdltham Qrphanage. The Chairman, in a long report, traversed the Commissioner's findings, and moved, "That in the opinion, of the Board the Commissioner's findings — (a) that the Orphanage has been improperly managed and controlled, '(b) that the allegation of the absence of moral training was proved, and (c) thai the charge of lack of example was true — are not borne out by the evidence adduced at tho enquiry."
