Wind.—Moderate to strong from the westward at all places northward of Kapler and Sew Plymouth; strong to gale from between north-east and north and west after from 12 to 16 hours elsewhere. Barometer.—Little movement northward ofEast Oape, Taupo, and Raglan; fill everywhere else. Sea.—Considerable on all western ooaat and on east const between Oastlepoint and Kaikoura. Tides.—Good on western coast ol North Uland and on all eastern coast southward from Tauranga to Dunedln. Moderate all other porte Rain is probable in parts of the South Island. Warning signal for northerly gale is exhibited 'at Capes Campbell, Foulwind, Farewell Spit, and Nugget Point. STNOFSIB Of LAST 24 HOURS. Very little movement of barometer generally, but it has fallen since midnight southward of Timaru and Queen3town.
