The trial of William Reid, a fisher* man, who pleaded not guilty in the Supreme Court to a charge of having attempted, on 13th August, to murder Mary Kate Donovan, and to an alternative count of having done her actual bodily hiirm. was concluded today. After a brief retirement, tho jury returned a verdict of <r Not guilty." Accused was discharged.
