« . TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Some two yeais ago a Wellington builder brought out to Seatoun an old lniilcling — taken to pieces for' convenience of removt.l. He was refused (and rightly so) a permit to re-erect it. But now we find a Seatoun man has purchased it and is re-erecting it within a hundred yards of the section on which this firewood lias lain so many months. Can anyone explain tho why and the wherefore?.— l am, etc. CLEAN TIMBER. j Wellington, 6th September, 1905.
