Scott; Auditor, Mr. S. Morton ; General Committee, H. Cook, D. Roberts, J. S. Hay, J. J. Hay, R. Moffatt; Selection Committee, S. J. Orchard, B. S. Withers, and S. Morton ; Delegates to the Association, Messrs. S. J. Orchard and C. R. Joplin. During tho meeting donations of one guinea were received from the Rev. T. G. Kay and Mr. A. W. J. Cook. The trophies won last season were presented by the Chairman. Nine new members were elected. On the motion of Mr. S. J. Orchard, seconded by Mr. E. J. Wiffin, the meeting decided to instruct the Delegates to the Cricket Association to support Mr. T. H. Wilson's motion to alter the present system of arriving at tut result of the junior and third-class championships. The meeting entered a' protest against the action of the members of the Management Committee who did riot take any notice of the strong recommendation moved by the Club's Delegate to play 15 local players against the Australians. The Club intends to enter teams for the junior and third-class championship. A special vote of thanks was passed to Mr. R. Moffatt, the retiring Secretary — a position he has filled for five years — donors of trophies, and the Chairman. , ' "Felix," the well-known Australian authority on matters relating to cricket, asserts in the 'latest issue of The Aust ralasian, which reached Wellington yesterday, that the Scottish matches do not count as finst-class. The Australians' averages, which will be published next week, will, therefore, not include the figures in these two games nor those against Dublin University and South Waleo. The annual meeting of the Thorndon Cricket Club will be held in the Methodist ChurcbrOom, Molesworth-street, next Thursday evening.
