SUEZ CANAL.
TRAFFIC TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED. [PBESS ASSOCIATION.] • (Received September 7, 8.28 a.m.) CAIRO, 6th September. Traffic on the Suez Canal was temporarily suspended^owing to the steamer Chatham, bound for Yokohama, being on fire. Anxiety was caused owing to the vessel having seventy tons of dynamite aboard. The outbreak was finally extinguished.
