Mrs. Runner, widow of the late Captain Renner, is lying in a critical state at her residence in Macfarla'ne-street. Tn consequence of her serious condition Mr W. H Renner, Chief Postmaster at Uiiborne, and the other members of the family have been summoned to Wellington. The s.s. Duchess will run special excursions to Day's Bay to-morrow at 10 15 a.m. and afc 2.30 p.m. Full particulars appear in another column. Messrs.
