Magnificent and Catherine Gordon ran a mile, and Kohuru six furlongs. Tupara had slightly the belter of Bagpipe*, over a, mile. Bhrapntl easily defeated Full Cry over seven furlongs, and Lurcher badly beat Nadudor over a mile. Cavalry c'efe'ifed Heroism over a mile and a half. Kxino. r moved freely for five furlongs. Inniskillen and Phaetonitis did a worki-ig g.iJJop for a mile and a half, and Ilaydn a similar distance at three-quarter pace. Royal Crown bad the advantage of Ilaydn over six furlongs, and Rose Madder easily beat Veneer in a mile gallop. Kremlin held Tirole and Somaroff for seven furlongs, though Tirole was allowed to finish first. Hydrant and Grand Jury jumped the hurdle* satisfactorily. The former afterwards galloped a mile with Shrapnel Shell, by whom ho was defeated. Rungarawa gave a good exhibition over the hurdles. Brighton beat Crichton over six furlongs, and Comfort defeated Creusot over one round. Pipi did sound work. Newlown easily beat Durable in a mile run, and Waiwera had the advantage of Trumpery over a mile and a quarter. Romeo and Repulse were schooled ovir the hurdles. The former jumped well and easily beat his companion. Kiatere was extended for a mile and a quarter. Kohatu jumped the big fences well. Mumtzona, Defoe, Levant, Nor' -west, and Golden Vein did sound work.
