STATE COAL MINE
[BY TEtKORAPII— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] GREYMOUTH, 10th August. The Coal Commission lias completed taking evidence, which was to the effect that the .State mine coal was excellent for steam and household. A screen is being erected to supply screened coal, and then this trade will bo pushed. It was stated that coal was sold at Groyniouth in trucks at 13s per ton. The evidence showed that friction existed between the mine and tho Union Shipping Company on the one side and the inilwny on tho other.
