THE NEW LIBERAL PARTY'S ATTITUDE FUTURE INTENTIONS.
During last night the new Liberals held a meeting to discuss their plan of action in pursuance of their general charges against the Government, and, in particular, of the "voucher" charge. The party concluded that circumstances must determine the course they will pursue, and they anticipate that considerable difficulty will be placed in the way of their pushing forward their charges. In conversation witn. a Post representative last night Mr. Fisher said :—"I: — "I fctill say that this contention requires to be met, namely, that when the" Under-Secretary of .the Treasuiy says no payment has been made to Captain Seddon,' and the Minister of Defence concurs in this statement, and three Civil Servants swear on oath that thoy handled tho vouoheron which the payment was made, there is undoubtedly room for enquiry." The members of the party intend to hold a public meeting in the Town Hall on Monday next.
