Haydn and Narcissus did a schooling task over the fences. It was a good exhibition. Rose Madder brushed over four furlongs. Phaetonltis went two circuits at a sound pace. Creusot, Cavalry, and Heroism ware given a 1 school* ing task, the display being a creditable one. Manazona fenced well over three big fences. Eurua, with an advantago in weights, defeated Taxpayer over a mile in lmin 555ec. Newtown, Romeo, and Secret Society were sent over twelve furlongs. Newtown had a substantial lead, but was overtaken by Romeo. Tho time for tho full distance was 2min 55 l-fecc. Slow Tom defeated Royal Crown over half a mils. Lurcher was given a schooling task over four big fences. Victory and Pipi ran a mile and a half in 3min 7sec. Waiwera and Grand Jury went two circuits at three-quarter speed. Wet Rest and Trumpery were companioru> over six furlongs, run in lmin 25 3-ssec. Over sixty horses are in training Wet Sheet was scratched for the Grand National Steeplechase at 2.20 o'clock today. <
