PARLIAMENT.
HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The House continued its sittings yesterday afternoon. THE VOUCHER INCIDENT. Considerable debate took place on the alleged voucher for a payment to Captaih' Seddoh, as reported .elsewhere: " QUESTIONS. Questions were answered by Ministers, and debated at considerable length. References to the matters touched on will be found in other portions of this issue. MARRIAGE RESTRICTIONS. The Marriage Restrictions a Re^^al Bill (Slr'W. J. Steward) was committed. The measure proposes to validate marriage with a deceased wife's niece or a deceased 'husband's nephew. The Bill was reported with amendments. STATUTES COMPILATION/ The Statutes Compilation Act Amendment Bill passed through Committee without amendment. The House rose at 0.30 a.m.
