The Bisley rifle team, after some days of preliminary practice, commenced on Juno 19th to compete for places -'n the Kolapore .Cup team. Of the 12 men who compose the team, only eight are required to fire for the Cup. The conditions weie six competitions, ranges 200, 500, and 600 yards, 7 shots at each distance, making the. highest possible for each match 105 points. On the same day also hegan the competition for whom should bo New Zealand's representative for this year in the Prance of Wales's natch.
