fBY TELEGKAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHBISTCHURCH, Bth August. At the annual meeting of the Canterbury Employees' Association to-night the subject of accident insurance was discussed. Tho Executive was requested to collect information regarding a State scheme, and whether it is possible for employers' associations throughout New Zealand to combine in order to establish a mutual system. Members protested against employers having to bear the whole of the burden. The opinion was expressed that present insuranco rates were exorbitant.
