mm FATAL ACCIDENT AT THE HUTT. A distressing fatal accident occurred at the Lower Hutt about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, the victim being George Fleet, a well-known driver of one of Mr. Cudby's drJYB. At the time in question Fleet was driving a horse and dray, when the vehicle, which was laden with cement, stuck in a hole in the road.' He got down from the cart, and had just successfully got it\,under way again when he stumbled under the wheel, and the heavy load passed over his chest, breaking several ribs, and causing internal injuries. The injury sustained was so great that the unfortunate man expired before medical aid could be procured. Deceased was about 56 years of age, and was unmarried.
