Mr. Mills), Dunedin Garrison Hall Trustees Empowering Bill (the Premier's), and the Palmerstrin North High School Reserve Bill ((Mr. Wood) were read a fjrst time. The Native Land Duty Abolition Bill and the High Commissioner Bill were introduced by Governor's Message and read a first time. • . MAORI ANTIQUITIES. The amendments made by the Legislative Council in the Maori Antiquities Bill were agreed to by 51 to 18. SHOPS AND OFFICES.
