♦ , [BY TELEOJfcAPn— I'BESS ASSOCIATION ] ; WANGANUI, 25th August. The hockey championship was won today by tho Wanganui Club, who defeated Eastown (present holders) by one goal to nil. Coo, who is one of tho North Island representatives, scored tho goal. DISQUALIFICATION REMOVED. OHRISTCHURCH, 25th August. The New Zealand Hockey Association has removed the disqualification of two years imposed on Walter Johnson by tho Canterbury Association on a charge of illegally transferring a game of hockoy in tho association competition from a ground originally fixed for it.
