At Gore to-day tho prosecutions following on tho recon t seizures of liquor in that town weio commenced before Mr. Cruickshnnk, S.M., A Broiman, biK hard saloon keeper, charged with three informations with exposing liquor for Kaie, pleaded guilty to two. Ho was lined £35 «nd costs on the first, and ordered to bo imprisoned till the rising of tho Court. Mrs. Brennan also pleaded guilty to two similar charges, and was fined £10 a-ini costs (9s). The second chargo against Brennan was" withdrawn. W. Georgo«on, omployed by Brennan, pleaded guilty to a chargo of selling liquor, and was fined £2 and costs (lls). Collett, a blucksmitb, charged with selling liquor, pkadod not guilty, but was convicted and fined £50 and costs (9s). Security for an appeal was fixed at £70. W. Pollock, Hvory stable keeper, charged with soiling liquor, withdrew his plea, of not guilty,' and wns fined £43 and costs (13s). On a socond chargo he was ordered to bo imprisoned till the rising of tho Court. Throe more cases will bo beard to-morrow.
