The innnugeiiient of the Auckland Hospitiii furnUhid a topic for discusision at the meeting of the Amalgamated Society of Cu-nenters and Joiners last night The following resolution was adopted : — • " That thifc brunch directs its dolegates to tho 'Irades and Labour Council to move in the direction of urging the Government to appoint a Royal Commission to enquire into the whole management of the Auckland Hospital, and more especially with reference to tue charges made by Dr. Neil ; also thnt jUr. George Fowld*, M.H.R., should be asked to take steps to ventilate the matter in tho House." To-night the Trades and Labour Council carried a motion at-king for a Royal Commission. A TIMELY REMINDER.
