BOTTLING WORKS DAMAGED.

[BY TELEORAPU— -I'RKSS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, 23rd August. A fire broke out this evening in the storago room of Messrs. Powley and Koast's bottling works. The storage room was practically gutted, and a considerable quantity of whieky, beer, etc., in the place was destroyed or damaged. An estimate of the extent of tho damage cannot at present be made. The building is owned by Mr. Henderson, Law Trustee, and was insured for £1000 in'tho Liverpool, Lpndon and Globo Office. ■ Messrs. Powfey and Kcast's stock was insured in the Royal Office for £1500, and in the New Zealand Office for £600. .
