Tiie Secretary was instructed 'to inform the Buller Union that no portion of the gate money could be given them if they visit Wellington. A special enquiry is to be held on 7th July into the circumstances surrounding the accident which caused the death of R, Thomson, lato of tho Wellington Club. 'No apology having been received from the Rpectntor wbo v ;«s reported by a referee for alleged offensive language to the referee at the l'oneke-I'etone match it was decided to wnrn him off all grounds under the jurisdiction of tho union until he does apologise. The Tlowkos Bay Rugby Union has decided to recommend to the New Zealand Union that a black list of players disqualified by the different unions throughout New Zealand be kept, and that all the&e players be debarred from playing in. iuturprovincial matches during the* season in which they are penalised. The resolution whs decided upon in view of the growing amount of rqugh play indulged ia throughout the colony. Tho lixtuu's and grounds for all Rugby matciibi ro-inoifon ,tre tlit stine «\» were announced last week. No Cup Association matches will be played, on account of a tiial "rep." match.
