It wa.s sl.-ifce<l that representations would bo mado to the Government to havo tho name of the hill (on which stands the Wnirau ina-ssaore monument) changed from Massacre Hill to Memorial Hill, the old term being considered historically faLw, aud an undesircd felur on the Maori race.
