A mnss meeting for the purpose- of protesting against t,ho freehold of Crown land passing from tho Stato will bo held in tho Garrison Hall on Wednesday nig.ht under tho auspices of tho Trades and Labour Council, when Messrs. Fowlds, Luuronson, and Taylor will deliver addresses. A similar meeting will bo held at Gore on tho following evening.
