A firo in tho main street at Gore at half-piist two this morning destroyed several of tho finest buildings in the town — viz., the Holkyid Arcade, Mr. M'Gibbons's three -story drapery establishment, and six other shops. Tho loss is estimated "at £30,000. The fire started in Miss, Cotter's milliner's shop. Tho cause is unknown. Owing to tho shortage of water tho Brigado was greatly handicappeel. ______________
