Fat Cattle.— Tho yarding totalled 178, tho entry boing of fair quality. The salo \ynsjnot a brisk ono, and many lots wero passed. Ten steers sold on account of Mr. G. Holmes (Taitapn) brought from £9 to £9 15s; others realised from £7 to £10 17a 6d ; heifers, £5 15s to £7 17s 6d ; cows, £5 15a to £8 15s. Tho price of boof ruled from 19a to 23s 6d por 1001b. Fat Sheep. — Thero wa« a fairly largo entry, with a fair proportion of prime wethers and some good quality ewes. A brink domand at laut week's ratos was shown. Wethers, 17s to 21s 9d ; best owes, 16s to 17s 6d: others, 11s 3d to 15s 6d.
