IMSTONIToLUB. Tho annual meeting of the Petone Football Club was held on Friday evening, Mr. J. T. King presiding. Eloven new membors wcro oleoted and «ix resignations acct'ptetl. Offers of trophies were mado by Dr. Newman and Mr. J. King, which wero accepted with thanks. It was decided that tho committeo bo empowered to take such steps «s they deemed advisablo to recovor overdue subscriptions. A hearty voto of thanks was accorded Mr. Lyn«kcy for Iho interest and car© he had taken in tho matter of coaching young players. In accordance with past custom Masters Ashcrott, Olson, and Kelly wcro mado members of tho club froo of fees, as being tho threo-best players in tko school tenin. It was also decided to admit free boys joining t-ho fifth cloas. Tho committee was instructed to endoavour to .yrimgo for a sonior match lo be played away from homo during tho Easter holidays. Tho Secretary was instructed to ascertain when the gymnasium will be available and notify members. The cotrunitteo was given power to cloeo with an offer from Mr. Sharp for uso of two grounds for tho Fcason fox junior players. A voto of thanks to tho chairman concluded an enthusiastic meeting.

Tho annual meeting of tho Kaiwarra Football Club wn.s held in tho Kniwarnv Hail on Fi'iday, Mr. D. McKeiuijo in tho chair. There -was a full attendance of members.
