(ReceiveH December 11, 9 a.m.) ■ PARIS, 10th December. The French Government is aiTanging the shipping service at Marseilles in accordance with the strikers' proposed scale of pay. The employers will make good the money if they ultimately lose their case, otherwise the Government will pay the difference.

Hie employees of the Waipori Falls Electric Power Company have posted notices warning all rack miners not to work for the company, owing to a dispute with the hammer and drill men. The dispute is chiefly over wages. The rate at present paid is 8s per day.
