Won comfortably by four lengths. Time, 49sec. Dividend, £2 10? 6rl. Jockey Club Handicap, of 500 soys ; one mile. — Mr. A. Moss's gr h Canteen, by Castor — Vivandiere, Bst 81b (L. King), 1 ; Mr. H. Fricdlander's Scylla, 7st 81b (R. King), 2; Mr. W. Rathbone's Fleka, 7st 101b (Brown),, 3. Also ran—Vladimir Bst 111b, Cannie Chiel 7bt 111b, Pallas 7st 81b, Exmoor 7st, Fakir 6st 71b. Down the back of the straight Exmoor was leading Cannie Chiel, Fleka, and Canteen, but died away when heads were turned for home. A great race ejQ^.ued^up^tha straight, Canteen and Scylla fighting out" a splendid finish. The former got the verdict by a. bare neck. Fleka was a ' length, away third, Cannio Chiel and Fakir next.
