NORTH ISLAND CANDIDATES. [BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
MASTERTON, 12th Nov. Mr. J. C. Cooper, who is to oppose Mr. A. W. Hogg for the Masterton seat, was nominated to-day. NAPIER, 12th November. Mr. R.- J. Eames, one of the two candidates contesting the Napier seat, addressed the electors to-night. He said he would support the Government when he thought it was right, but would oppose it when he believed it was doing wrong. The meeting dispersed Svithout passing a- vote to the candidate. INGLEWOOD, This Day. At a meeting of delegates of the Farmers' Union it was unanimously resolved that Mr. Leech be declared the Union's" candidate for the Egmont seat. [BY TELEQRAI'H — OWN CORKESPONDENT.] LEVIN, This Day. Mr. Field addressed the electors at Wereroa and Levin last night, and was well- received.
