Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs. Abraham and Williams, report on their Johnsonville stock sale yesterday as follows: — We had a somewhat smaller yarding of cattle, which mot with keen competition throughout. Prime bullocks made frr-ni £12 to £14 7s 6d; light medium qua^r, £10 5s to £11 12s 6d. We quote— Beef, £3 2s to £3 3s per 1001b. A short supply of sheep sold at advanced prices. Good wethers, 18s 4d; good ewes, 16a 9d; light butchers' ewes, 15s 7d to 15s 9d ; good lambs, 11s 3d; others, 9s 2d to ltis 3d. [BT TEIEGBAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN This Day. At Burnside market yesterday 120 fat cattle were yarded, very few being prime. Best bullocks, £12 to £13; medium, £10 to £11 17s 6d;' others, £8 10s to £9 17s 6d ; best cows (only prime beef), £11 15s to £12 17s 6d ; medium to good, £9 10s to £11 12s 6d; others, £6 to £9 7s 6d. Fat Sheep. — Bidding for the 1200 penned was keen, .but no improvement in prices took place. Best wethers, 21s to 22s 6d ; merino wethers, 18s 9d to 20s 6d ; others, 17s to 18s 9d; best ewes, 21s to 235; one pen extra large, 28s; medium, 18s 6d to 20s 3d ; others, 14s 6d to 17s 6d. Lambs. — About 250 penned. Best, 12s to 133 3d; medium, 10s 3d to 11s 9d ; others, 6s to 10s. Rgs. — The 100 yarded mot with keen competition.
