The township of Landsborough, fiftytwo miles from Brisbane, on the north coast' line, is in grave danger of being swejrt away by a bush firo which has beea' raging round the place for; two days. , A detachment of pofiee has been sent to rescue the women and children, and assist in fighting tho fire.
