EXAMINATION RESULTS, j The examiners (Mr. T. H. Gill, M.A., 8 and Misses Helyer and Bradford) have " just completed the marking of the 431 d papers which were written Dy the schol1 ars in the Scripture examination held on 11th July. Those gaining 76 per cent, tt of marks get a prize and first- class certificate. Those gaining 60 per cent, and under 75 .per cent, get a second-class certificate, while those who gain 45 and '" under 60 per cent, get a- third-class cer- \[ tiflcate. The scholars were divided into ir five grades, according to age. The union gave a special prize to the scholar gaining the highest number of marks irrel» spective of grade, and this prize is to be divided between Anneta Child and William Pettit, of the Baptist School, j Nelson, who gain 96 marks each.
