[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] MELBOURNE, 10th Augurt. Sir William Lrne has decided to appoint a Royal Commission to enquire into the treatment of troopere on board the Drayton Grange. Sir Edmund Barton ho* been informed of the facts. THE TROOPSHIP AT SYDNEY. FOUR MORE CAsis OF SICKNESS. SCATHING REPORT BY THE MEDICAL OFFICER. (Received August 11, 10.8 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The troopihip Drayton Grange has a* rived here, and will land her troops at the quarantine «tation this morning. Four additional cue* of sickness have occurred since the vessel left Melbourne. The medical officer has supplied the Federal authorities with a scathing report on the voyage. He declares thai had the sick men been landed »t Albany no deaths would have occurred PiiRTH, This Dar. ' The Commandant of the West Ausu *• ban Forces states that, owing to bolsterous aud wet weather rendering it d .nicerous to land sick men, and also owing to ihe absence of nurses and doctors in»a tj» quarantine station, he suggested o the medical officer of the Drayton G^,.* to^and healthy mea, so as to mi.ke more room for the sick.
