HENRI DUNANT.
It is reported from Paris that Henri. Dunant, who founded the International' Red Cross Society of Geneva, and whon was recently awarded » , share in tha NoDel Prize, is Hying in an almshouse ia Switzerland. This prize, so well merited, he was not destined to enjoy, as greedy creditors were in waiting, who garnisheed tho amount, thus leaving tho great benefactor penniless, he having spent his entire fortune in the foundation of tho mission of mercy. One cannot blame Dunant's creditors for claiming their legal rights, but surely (remarks To-day), if ever there waa a ca. c 9 which should appeal to the benevolence of tEoBe who are on the gui vive in the cause of charity, the painful position of the founder of the "Red Cross" should commend itaelf to them.
