* - - — [bt telegeaph— phlss association.] INVERCARGILL, This Day. The Premier has received information that the Customs returns for November amounted to £157,294, and the beer duty to £7187. Mr., Seddon and Sir Joseph Ward arrived here by special train this afternoon, and will proceed to Orepuki to inspect the Shale and Oil Company's works, in which a capital of £100,000 is sunk. They will be banqueted there this evening.
